Hi
Yes Firefox rip, and I assume they're vertex colors, because it looks like the original files uploaded were in a format that supports color on the model without UV maps like .ply
and they have no texture maps I'll send you a link to see for a sample yourself if you would like.

Hello guys, has anyone had any luck with ripping google earth models? I need some of the legacy models but the tool won't rip in any mode. It just creates empty folders.
I've attached the log.

I was actually able to rip some models (apparently it doesnt work in win 10 or something), but I can't get the UVs to import properly in max. They are stretched and misplaced at best. For some objects there are no UVs.

Wow. It's been so long I even forgot my nickname. Very glad to see that 64bit version arrived. You're doing an amazing job. It has a huge potential for a whole plethora of uses. Starting from newbies having a way to learn how content for modern games is done, to reviving the modding community, which was in a steep decline for years.
But the tool is not there yet. I wanna ask: will there be a way to rip 3D scenes without having all the props zeroed in the center? I remember 3DripperDX working in such way (but the scene got warped and deformed because the capture was based off of camera FOV).
I have a bunch of ideas for modding, but the way NinjaRipper is currently working you have to place all the props by hand. It's fine if you only need a single model, but completely inefficient for ripping landscapes and game world objects. If there was a way to rip scenes with everything in its place we could get the map modding really going. There's a lot of old/dead games with game worlds that could be given a new life. People still try to convert old GTA game worlds into the latest version. Unfortunately, for other games there's simply no way to get the content out. But NinjaRipper is universal. You don't need to disassemble the whole engine for each game. That's a BIG difference. If you can make it keep the object coordinates during capture, this will open the floodgate for really cool mods.
I'm a 3d artist, not a programmer, but I imagine the easiest and cheapest way to do this would be to reset all the prop pivot points to zero while ripping. That way everything will stay in place. I personally can handle reassigning pivots for a bunch of props, that's not as bad as figuring where they should be.
Anyway, enough of me rambling. Here's some feedback: I did a little test drive of NinjaRipper on NFS World. All works fine, except one issue with the car model. Its scale is way off and UV's are affected by it too. Could be fixed if exact scaling ratio is provided (but ideally would be great to know why this happens). Here's some screens:

I haven't been able to get this to work with a browser. Trying to rip:
nsfw. I don't get a mesh using the marmo extractor, tried this instead, didn't work.
Is there a chance for a global monitoring setting? Or,
would someone be willing to rip the above model for me?

Can anyone point me towards some tutorials most of the official website is down. I'm trying to get ninja.rips to a usable format, ideally I'd like to get them to Gmod or any common format I can find a exporter for. I'm not much of a modeler I just goof around with videos and screen shots mainly, I have access to C4D & 3DS at school.
Any help or a pointer would be very much appreciated.

There's a Blender 3D importer for ninja rip files (somewhere on this site, use search), then from Blender you can export to many other formats.

This thread sure seems quiet. Is it always like this or Tosyk is just taking a break?

I followed the official walkthrough, and seemed to run everything ok. It copies a d3d9.dll file into the game folder and launches the game just fine. The problem is that it seems to ONLY write the log files, and never actually does any ripping when I press the correct F-keys. There's no pause in the game or anything. Is it supposed to copy the intruder.dll into the game directory? It seems to copy a different dll into that folder as it's much smaller in size.

No .rip files appear or anything. I would assume the log file would show an error if it didn't hook in correctly, but I don't see anything. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. Ghostbusters is a 32-bit application, and I've seen that plenty of other people have used it successfully. Does anyone see something wrong? I'd appreciate any help I could get. Thank you in advance!

0217/131554 [3538] LOG END
No .rip files appear or anything. I would assume the log file would show an error if it didn't hook in correctly, but I don't see anything. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. Ghostbusters is a 32-bit application, and I've seen that plenty of other people have used it successfully. Does anyone see something wrong? I'd appreciate any help I could get. Thank you in advance!
I'm having the exact same issue as ^; only a log file, no rip files.
I really hope this project hasn't died, it was so close to perfect.
