i can confirm what darko said.
i have tried to extract files from the final version of chara_common.lnk /.bin the result is one directory of files like:
"BU1E7@1S100C@H1A1]]233723D1U1QRF1410N10{S75131I"
"BS873@1S100@C]H]623G1EN12PQ31098N10{R821I"
"BR1E7@1S100C@H1A1]]233723D1U1QRF1410N10{S75131I"
etc.
would be awesome if someone could adapt the script to the final version of DoA 5.
i can upload files if needed but only via pm

best way to get the models for now is to dump the ram of a jtag unit with the model you want on screen.
if someone sends me a ram dump ill look at making a bms to extract the models from it.

nope they completely changed their archive format and model format.
Edit.
I found a way to get the model files grouped togather so we can extract a complete model but they are doing something i did not even think was allowed.
they are using the ps3 edge sdk on the 360 port.
and they are using the bit level compression it offers for the face data.

@chrrox i have a jtag and i could make a ramdump but im not interested in getting the models on pc...
im more interested in extracting and reinjecting the textures to the game... if you know what i mean

I don't believe they changed the archive format "completely." The old QuickBMS script does indeed properly extract the files. The actual contents aren't scrambled once extracted, just the file names except for "archivename.order," which seems to be the key in unscrambling these properly.chrrox wrote:nope they completely changed their archive format and model format.

Why in Noesis models have automatically matched textures but in 3ds max I have to add them manually? Is there any way to load them automatically?
