4d uvs? Doesn't max have multiple uv map channels? Usually the second one is for some kind of effect and can be tossed.

I don't think I implemented the use of 4D UVs, so thats probably why UVs are not all there

the goal is to be able to import and file and export it back with very little change. that is why 4D uvs are skipped, because I'm not 100% sure how to handle them in max

however chrrox likely treated the 4D ones, as normal 2D ones.
Just fix the faces weights, mesh location and the untile script and it's almost done.

This is how Kasumi looks with all the shaders:

That could be the uv problems I posted before. Also some bones names are assigned incorrectly in some models:

The weightin is correct, but names are not xD.

About materials, for skin material is taking wet base body as a diffuse texture instead of character_body_base or dusty_all or the specular map in some cases.

I import it with Mariokart script and just make some correction of materials

Most of the materials ( diffuse map ) are incorrect, while the others ( spec and Bumb ) are correct


so basically I check the spec and search for the correct diffuse map and change it

I do it for chain and Armor but without luck ( although the chain map is correct from the beginning )

I tried with Kokoro kimono, same problem ( incorrect diffuse map )

May be I did something wrong, I am using Max 2012 and 2009

Kudos to everyone.
Hey mariokart64n, I have tried your script to get the bones and they work, the only problem is that the weights are partly wrong. I tried it briefly on the default costume for Hitomi (tank top) and the envelope for her left leg was horizontal instead of vertical. Just wanted to let you know and yes I do know it is a WIP script. Keep it up everyone.

For Anyone Needing a Tutorial Video on How to do this I have made one.

Also note that I noticed the older version of the TMC Praser by Mariokart worked properly with UVWS but the New Version does not - at least for me the Eyes in the older version work properly I can see the UVWS OVerlaying EachOther in the UVUNWRAP Editor but the New version called TMC Praser (Old is called For "Research or something") Shows a tiny vertex that when selected as Element is all of the Eyes and Lids. So This is an Easy Fix, Also as you all know for certain Characters like for Helenas Face her Skinning is Way Off where as for Most Characters like Ayane her Skinning is well done.

Anyway If anyone needs more Tutorials let me know. Since I am a Game Developer I can make The Girls Easily myself and make Serious Modifications if anyone wants to do that let me know we can do some crazy stuff.

PS. All of The Files in the Video can be found On This Forum or Through Google.
Do not expect For me to give you files unless you really need them. If you are confused or need help with the video let me know.

DLC Trouble, hey guys I have gone and spent Hours getting this DLC to work.
Am I suppose to leave the DLC as 000(etc) profile and Console ID , doing so causes the Content to Show up as Valid content but in game no DLC content Shows. When I change the DLC Content ID and Profile ID to my Native IDs which works for my SaveFile (Rehash and Resign) I get a corrupted content error.

I have Used Lefluffie and Have Unlocked the content using WM360 but get 1 of those errors above. Not Happy Am I.
I have heaps of tools. Can anyone help?

If I cant get the DLC to work then well I have the Option of Editing the Non DLC files directly but I havent heard of .link and .bin Injector yet....
