the files contain raw data, the index table (name/offset/size) is somewhere else and without it you can't extract the files

no, it's a data file too.
except for these CDP files what other extensions exist?
exists a small possibility that the file list is directly in the executable.
maybe try to post a list of the files you have there and the executable

these seem to be the most likely candidates for the needed file as I feel the others a simply video files

Code: Select all
open FDDE "tbl"
open FDDE "cdp" 1
get FILES asize
math FILES /= 8
for i = 0 < FILES
get OFFSET long
get SIZE long
math OFFSET *= 0x800
log "" OFFSET SIZE
next i
note that probably there is a little bug in quickbms which is not able to find the cdp/tbl files if the output folder is different than the input one, I will fix when I will be back at home but you can extract the files without problems if you use the same folder

I have tried this script on the files linked to above and can't get it to extract anything. I keep getting the following error in QuickBMS v0.5.3a:
Code: Select all
offset filesize filename
-------------------------
- open input file DATA.tbl
- open input file DATA.cdp
00000000 12624 DATA\00000000.dat
Error: incomplete input file number 0, can't read 9744 bytes.
I'm trying to extract the files to the same folder as the input files. It goes as far as creating a new folder called "DATA" and creates a 0 byte file called "00000000.neo".
What am I doing wrong? Is it the version of QuickBMS I'm using or the files themselves? Any help here would be much appreciated!
