Hey guys, kind of off topic I guess, but anyone know how to extract the audio from DoA5? I tried searching for it, but most discussion is about the 3d models.

Right now I was able to extract the data from the iso. Inside the folder I have some fairly large .bin files and a few other folders that contain files with strange names like I1D_F80CJKAII@8C0N8OOC]RA3002]S{0DDK.

Any idea where the audio is located? Thanks in advance.

I always assumed it is in the DOA disk (just plop that sucker into your DVD drive and it should be there)

So i'm more of a hands on/visual learner so im sorry im if being slow or stupid!

heres the steps I have so far:

1: Using Modio extract the DLC from flashdrive in my case Phase 4 outfits, Maid outfits, and the overalls set (im starting with the Maid set because I really want to port them!)
1A: So it's Downloadble Content - 17 at least for me since im missing out on a bunch of DLC lol "15AAB4B14B239D3621D02A8842868E43EB0E794B4B"
2: Using "Wxpirs" extract the content of the ".File" file
2A: Now we have four Content_Data files ".Bcm, .Bin, .Blp, .Blp" and the regular conten_data shortcut file
3: Am i supposed to use the BMS unpacker now? im not sure Dx

it'll only have one option.
make sure you've replace the .dat from this program with miku's latest one.

*
v17b
is this one current? I thought we were still on a lower one, or maybe I'm thinking texture extractor.

*
putting some finishing touches on tengu,
was wondering, blonde hair with white wings, yay or nay?
As a general or matching color scheme with a kimono recolor? either way sounds nice! I was looking at Kasumi's costumes earlier today and I noticed that in the very first DOA game (arcade) Kasumi was a Bluenette and her white ninja suit was her original one which I found surprising

oh and after asking all the porters I knew personally on Deviantart someone was finally kind enough to give me a tutorial and I've extracted Momiji's Maid outfit so far (not the head lol) but thank you for the DL link to the Archvarius (before all I was getting was the .dat and not the python file which was what I needed)

So i got the model extraction part down to editing the MTL so it knows what image type im using "like Nyo_base_001" -> to "Nyo_Base_001.png" so now im wondering how do I get the bones from the game to appear in 3ds max?

Seems there are underground tools that allow for extraction and rebuilding of models. So from what I've read some are swapping model parts to form new characters.

I also uploaded a video on how to vertex edit a model, but no tools for new creation

... However im working on it just wont be anytime soon. Im still trying to solve the unknowns i have

Also and xpr breaker was in the links on the first post.. Might be gone now. Might be on my sky drive?? Xpr breaker was a command line tool so want very popular. Try using Gx explorer or boss afs ninja afs ??

probably, but haven't tried.

That previous post from penguin seem to indicate inject missing parts from different model. then take texture co-ordinate from lisa 4 if no texture.

I'll have to try this on the weekend or next weekend to know.

There's a tool for mass changing of node IDs, weights, and scaling the face index, which were the main issues with swapping model parts.

Not sure about creating new characters though.

@Lilstormcloud
if we inject the missing parts of body, shoudn't them use themselves' body texture?

@mario, did you do any work on extracting from DOAX2? I got stalled on that earlier since there's been limited knowledge on it.
What unknowns are you stuck on as far as the modification part?
