RISK: Factions
Re: RISK: Factions
It should already work on Windows 7 64-bit.
Could you tell me, what kind of error do you get when you try to use it on the 64-bit OS?

Re: RISK: Factions
It starts but if i input the file name and press enter, it writes out everything ok, and dead before finish the extraction of the first file, no error message, nothing...
It works perfectly on my laptop with win 7 32 bit, anyway, there is a chance that the problem is in my pc

Re: RISK: Factions
Your message is not quite helpful to solve the problem without testing the tool here on my own, hunpatrik.
I don't have Windows7 64bit installed on my machine.
But, i will try it on VM when i have free time.
By the way, I've already programmed a tool for TDX <-> DDS conversions.
I'm also tring to get more information about the font files (.IMG)...
When I finish programming the font parser tool, i will release them both on my blog.
Maybe a new version for WAD archive unpacker, too, to be able fix your problem.

Thanks for reporting the bug, hunpatrik.
I've released a new version of the application that you can now use the application with command-line arguments without any problem.

Re: RISK: Factions
EXE compressor that I used for the application was buggy for x64, i think.
I've tried to fix it but I can't test it here right now.
Please check the newest version released and if you still have any other problems and let me know.

Re: RISK: Factions
yes if i use "tool.exe c:\data_core.wad" i get: "Unknow operation type" (i use this on 32bit)
and if i use "tool.exe -e c:\data_core.wad" i get:
"the archive file has been opened successfully.
pls wait while the files are being extracted.
data_core\...ach9_d.jpg" and the program stops
anyway if i use this type i get "the file is missing c:\-e" so please fix the first command

Re: RISK: Factions
I've fixed all the problems you've mentioned, hunpatrik.
I've tested the application on Win7 x64, it's working fine here.
Please check the blog for the newest version of the application.

Re: RISK: Factions
Check again, I did pack the wrong version of the application, and deleted it.
I'm really tired today, that's why mistakes are everywhere.
