maplestory wz files

This is my first post so I would like to say hi to everyone.

Also, and more importantly, I have tried numerous searches to find out how to extract maplestory .wz files to no avail. I found the algorithms to extract the files from the .wz archives but I need a file extracting master to extract the files. In the wz files there are two types of files, they are .xml and .png. I would like to get both extracted. I uploaded a wz file here. http://www.zshare.net/download/7887166785b3abe6/

I have the name of some of xml and png files in the in wz files. If you need them just ask.

The code is written in Java.

WZ files don't actually contain XML data, it's just the WZ archives contain IMG files which could be said to be a style of binary XML format (this is a really bad way to say it), which is why existing extractors extracted to XML/etc.

I am very sure that is incorrect. Maplestory is a game with tons of images (like 10,000+). Some of the images make up the avatar (hair, body, hat, eyes, gloves, etc...). If the avatar is walking the hair, body, hat, eyes and gloves need to go through a set of 4 different images to appear as if they are moving as well. For example, if you were walking would your hand move from side to side or stay dead still (the correct answer is move side to side). Now say the hand's location relative to the body changes every time the person moves. So for every one of those 4 frames we need to the the position of the hand and the url to the image. What is the best way to keep track of that data? XML.

There is no way in hell i will upload all of the files. The whole game is about 1.5-2GB. So what you can do is download the game from the maplestory website http://maplestory.nexon.net/Support/Downloads.aspx. From there install it. If you use windows the directory of the files are C:\Nexon\MapleStory. The files are

• Mob.wz
  Item.wz
  Effect.wz
  Base.wz
  Character.wz
  Etc.wz
  List.wz
  Map.wz
  Morph.wz
  Npc.wz
  Quest.wz
  Reactor.wz
  Skill.wz
  String.wz
  TamingMob.wz
  UI.wz

There is one more file named Sound.wz. That file is not relevant to me but if you guys wanna unpack it be my guest.

you must wait until one of professionals (if we have the chance) check that type of archives and decipher it ?
and i am only a common member and i can't state any technical information !
but i guess in the end those archives must be extracted with quick BMS scripting language ...

I have seen these programs before, they only work for maplestory v55. They are up to v85+ now. This does nothing for the current version of maplestory.

Also, the topic (after 35 pages of discussion) makes a program that can extract only maplestory v55 files.

That's because Nexon changed the encryption.
You have to find a v55 client, which shouldn't be too hard if you know where to look. Or you can wait too see if anyone will take a crack at it.

Yeah, I have v55 and have extracted it. However (as I said before) maplestory is up to v85+ and a LOT has changed. I am willing to wait till some one gives a crack at it.
