Yes, it's me, with another question :P

Luk told me he already added the extra symbols, but he doesn't know how to change the size of the seleccion for those symbols... For example, he placed the simbol á (10 px width) in a place of 15 px widht, so when you read it, the word looks like "cu á ndo" . It leaves too much free space between letters... Is there some way to change the selection size?

Have an idea of when it will be ready the "Import" feature?
Maybe... Now? :)
http://multi-up.com/128028
See my import.txt in archive and test.

Format of input(import) string = Format export string

Number of input string) Name(But not necessarily)
text of input string

If you crash your .langdb file, see the import.txt and write to me.
That is all.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english... maybe.

And...
Remember. In LangDB Editor 2.0 are found new string (more 255 characters). That in some places numeration of lines was displaced.
Be careful.

Hi.
I am one of this guys too. (:
"LangBD Editor for Tales of Monkey Island" is my work.
Nice work :)

Finally I figure out how to change the offset/width/height of the chars in charmap. If you are interested let me know.

@Bugtest
Thanks for your ttarchext. I have a few problem here.
1
E:\ttarchext>ttarchext 25 1_WallaceGromit104_pc_data.ttarch 111
E:\ttarchext>ttarchext -b -V 7 25 1.ttarch 111
I extract and then rebuilt a ttarch of Wallace & Gromit: Episode 4: The Bogey Man, without any change. After I replaced the ttarch, the game crashed. I found following information:

file / size / first 4 bytes
1_WallaceGromit104_pc_data.ttarch / 71,744,476 bytes / 06 00 00 00
1.ttarch / 71,744,488 bytes / 07 00 00 00

2
In game "Wallace And Gromit Ep1 - Fright Of The Bumblebees", there are five ttarch packages:
1_wallacegromit101_pc_data.ttarch
2_wallacegromit101_pc_voice.ttarch
3_wallacegromit101_pc_ms.ttarch
Z_wallacegromit101_gm_data.ttarch
Z_WallaceGromit101_pc_core_launcherOnly.ttarch

But I can only extract one package successful with ttarchext 0.1.5. It's Z_wallacegromit101_gm_data.ttarch. What's wrong?

E:\ttarchext>ttarchext 0 pack\2_wallacegromit101_pc_voice.ttarch pack\voice

1)
bogey man uses -V 8
anyway it's strange that the first 4 bytes of the original packet contain the number 6 (which means version 6) because here I have the number 8.
in any case you must use the same version number of pack reported during the extraction so if ttarchext says version 6 then you must use -V 6 in rebuild mode

2)
ops the key I used was the one of wallacegromit_demo (as you know telltale has made a big chaos linking that demo for any of the 4 episodes) so I have corrected it immediately in version 0.1.5a.
thanx

Thanks for the reply.
Sorry, I made a mistake. You're right, it used v8.
But the game still crashed after I extract and rebuilt the pack using following cmd:
E:\ttarchext>ttarchext 25 1_WallaceGromit104_pc_data.ttarch 111
E:\ttarchext>ttarchext -b -V 8 25 111.ttarch 111

original pack 71,746,665 bytes
new pack 71,744,489 bytes

uhmmm I can't help with the tests made on the starting of the game because here it doesn't work as demo so requires login and serial.

anyway there are some tests you can do in sequential order:
- temporary moving the original 1_WallaceGromit104_pc_data.ttarch in another location (so that it will be not loaded)
- renaming 111.ttarch as 0.ttarch
- using a hex editor and substituiting the two 0x01s at offset 0x20 and 0x24 with two 0x00s
- placing the following 8 bytes at offset 0x18: 20 79 00 00 6D 0D 00 00

tell me if one of these tests solves the problem

Thanx.
I just tested all of the steps.
1) The new pack must be named as the original name but not 0.attarch, else the game crash.
2) Substituiting the two 0x01s at offset 0x20 and 0x24 with two 0x00s solved the problem and the game running fine.
3) The 8 bytes at offset 0x18 seems have nothing to do with the problem. The problem still appear while I just changed them but didn't change the bytes at offset 0x20 and 0x24. And the problem didn't appear after I replaced all of the bytes at offset 0x20, 0x24 and 0x18.
