General Question on ripping 3d models from Dvd, Blueray
in case its never been asked before is the technology possible for this to be a thing or is there just no way to extract the 3d assets from movies like Scoob, Sonic the Movie, Pokemon Det Pikachu for example is it possible?

To clarify: if you're asking about ripping 3d models from the actual movie, then no, the movie is just a prerendered video file(s) that gets played back frame-by-frame. However, there may be nonvideo features on the discs (e.g. games) that have their own 3d assets, that could in principle be ripped.

i see thx for the general helpful answers always wanted to know why we couldnt extract assets like we can videogame cds
