need help! What compression on Gears of War?

Is there any way to decompress the texts, translate and then recompress tem back into the game

Can you guys give more information about this type of " conversion " ( lzo and stuff ) because, after talking to Gildor, it's confirmed that some of Medal Of Honor Airborne archives are not really Unreal Engine archives ( even with .xxx extension ).

I tried your method with all the tools that Savage gave us but I'm not really good at that.
