I still get nothing in the output folder when running the script and all chunks have been extracted. Am i doing something wrong? Some help would really be appreciated.

How can I convert:
.MeshSet to .FBX
.Texture to .DDS
.EBX to .mp3
?
I am extracting with Universal frostbite extractor by daemon, and am working with Battlefront 2 2017

Crofty already gave all info in tutorial he made, not sure what else you asking for, go back to last post on page 10 and click that link to see what's going on.

Here is basically everything you need. Blender is a free and pretty small program and from it you can just export to .fbx to open it in other software.
Supposing it works for the meshes, still, for the texture and ebx files? thanks anyway

If you read the first page of tutorial you would have seen that it covers textures aswell. It explains how you get rigged models with textures and how to fix their faces.
Sound i didn't add yet and currently don't know when it will happen. Info how to get them is on the last couple pages in this thread tho.

While trying to extract nfs payback files, i hit the dump button and get error message as "399 files failed because of chunk not found"...
Also while scanning cas/cat, it says 0 cas records found. What am i missing ?

I have problems with extracting SWBF1 models.
I'm using UFE02, set SWBF1 setting, select data folder.
i have 2 complect of game files .
first - 27 gb - scan and extracting normal.

Extracting meshser, ebx, sceletons, assets is normal, but when I'm using meshtools I'm trying to get the chunks numbers there is an error

mesh tool for SWBF1 is old style, no auto chunk search. You have to give it meshset & chunk names.

I do not have this game, and I just downloaded a couple of different iso from the network.
Can you explain how I can find out the name of the chunk from the meshset? I'm looking through the file in the hex editor.
And how to use Fb_SWBF_faces.exe? like as Fb_SWBF2_faces.exe?

Do any of the actual animations from lets say MEA, DAI, SWBF1/2, BF3/4/1 can be exported in any usable way?
I read the whole thread again, and to be honest its discussed about the assetbanks in animation folder but I am a bit confused if they can be extracted/converted somehow. Maybe I missed something, damn my eyes hurt from al this reading, ill try to read it again, and am not even joking lol lol

I've seen and tried to use use crofty's tutorials but i feel they are incomplete. He gives tools for blender but they don't work for .MeshSet files.
Texture converter also doesn't.
Could anyone show or explain to me everything please.

Hello there
I was a lurker here only but now I have a question please.
I have tried to extract Chewbacca from BF2. I got all files converted except one. The haircloth mesh isn't working with the Fb_SWBF2_mesh tool. It crashes immediately. What have I made wrong? Is there something missing in my "work folder"?
Another question is how to get the vehicles and spaceships. I get a smd and an ascii file but it doesn't load into blender. Maybe you can help here too.
