Hey Andrakann,
Find this line in the camerasConfig.xml file in the res_mods folder
Change this line: <dockInactivityTimeout> 50 </dockInactivityTimeout>
Change it to 5000. This is how long the camera will sit before moving back to default location. It makes it easier to look at the ship with out it changing.
I have been looking in to these transforms and doing a lot of reading.
I find it very hard to believe the Devs would place things wrong in their default start up positions.
I'm sure they are in the proper position just not transformed correctly. If i find the magic transform,, everything should show up with out having to add any special code for each group of items.
