Any possible specific .fpk I need to look for?

Edit: I got a Soviet guy to work, although he is missing his head when you replace the single .fmdl in the plparts_mgs1 guy. It's actually kinda hilarious,

Also, where to people on nexusmods obtain the head models? I'd like a go at trying it myself.

The heads for DD, Soviets and PF groups are stored separately from the body. If you replace one of the DD costumes you should get no issues with the head (not sure about the eyes and mouth though) what fpk was that model in? I have only found combined versions of the soviet and pf models.

For the head replacers on nexusmods, most of them are done by hex editing and zeroing out the body and replacing Snake's head or DD balaclava model which takes quite a bit of trial and error.

Seeing that all the mission parameters are being defined in .lua,

1.
how hard would it be to add, for example, more extreme/subsistance versions of already existing missions to the mission list?

2.
how hard would it be to add completely new missions?

Still no luck finding Eli's textures whithout Ninja Ripper. Unpacked all the archives (chunks, data1 and texture dats) and all I could find were version models and ftexs header files. Ran a search for his file name ("liquid") in the unpacked archives and nothing.

Found some of his textures in texture0.dat. The ftexs will be accompanying the ftex files.

My mod lets you switch on subsistence mode, and/or enemy prep max, before entering any mission or free mode.

Adding them as separate missions would take a lot more work, and be less flexible for the mod user.

Separate missions in general will take a lot of research to how the game objects are set up, and I don't know if anyone has looked into it in detail.
