Does anyone know how to edit normal maps? Every time I edit one and try to convert it with the FtexTool it crashes.

Have Lua files from FPK's inside QAR's been decrypted yet?
I know someone mentioned something about this earlier in the thread, but this thread has gotten way too long for me to look at every single page...

Yeah, use command prompt on QAR Tool and put -r after the command to decrypt them

Use this tool I got from someone on here, it works on most lua files.

It seems some files are encrypted differently. For example, in some FPK, /Assets/mgo/script/ruleset/Freeplay.lua is encrypted, though a lot of other files from the FPKs aren't. Not sure what the difference is here.

Does anyone know where the architecture models are located in the files? I'm talking about the walls/floors/props/etc that are used to make all the buildings and scenes in the game.

I figured out how to update the Extra Extra High Settings mod to 1.7 updates and am just waiting to hear back from the original creator if I can upload it to Nexus.

Hi new here. Having issues with retextures. When I replace the ftexs the old colors show when light hits the suit.

If anyone cares, I've deduced that the problem has got to be with the .ftex file. Probably one of the parameters are borked for this specific file, but the ftextool code is very... uninviting... .ftex file writing goes way over my head.

That's happened to me. I restart my computer and it works normally again. weird.
No more spam mods, finally.
He was 75% of the community, for better or worse. It's gonna get really quiet now.
