Unity Studio
Re: Unity Studio
Is there a way to convert the FSB files extracted from Unity Studio?
I keep getting Not a valid FSB file format (FileID: 0x00000000) errors. Any help would be greatly appreciated here.

Re: Unity Studio
Great tool, well done!
Only thing I miss is vertical UV flip option for exported models.

Re: Unity Studio
Just wondering, how do I extract single meshes? I can't find any of them by searching and the only way is to extract all meshes which creates a huge FBX file that I can't open properly.

Something like that:flipdark95 wrote:Just wondering, how do I extract single meshes? I can't find any of them by searching and the only way is to extract all meshes which creates a huge FBX file that I can't open properly.
Five checked meshes (and their textures) will be extracted in this case.
With some loss of assembly and structure:
So, it's better to keep groups and skip only unnecessary meshes for good result, like this:
(materials are reworked on this pic)

Re: Unity Studio
I'm getting some inconsistencies when exporting with Unity Studio. A few of the normals on extracted models seem to not be smoothed. When using the Unity Importer 3ds Max script however, the normals import and export just fine.
I'm not sure how I should go about fixing this. I'd much rather use Unity Studio for bone exports, but I don't seem to be getting the results I want.

Re: Unity Studio
Got similar problems with importing to Deep Exploration directly from FBX, but in 3dsmas2016 smoothing in FBX imports looks good, same as from script importer.GameDragon wrote:A few of the normals on extracted models seem to not be smoothed.
So, I use FBX>Max2016>Deep Exploration pipeline for fine result.
Re: Unity Studio
This tool looks extremely handy. However, the App Box link doesn't appear to be working (the download buttons don't work). Also, the source code is missing a few reference dlls and can't be built. Anyone have an alternate link?

Re: Unity Studio
Curious, has there been any attempt updating the program to support the new unity 5 engine?
