Now I’m wondering if The Walking Dead: Season 2, The Walking Dead: Michonne and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will ever be ported to the Nintendo Switch in the future?

For some reason I procrastinate playing games, I have an unopened Uncharted 4 to play and a whole backlog of games to buy :D
Hah, just another one in the list of how many times my name's been misspelled. It's all good. :P

Anyway, I primarily use 3DS Max 2010, so technically my scripts should work with 2009 and anything afterwards (I've even had to apply hacky fixes for some newer versions). That being said, I think I've actually got an idea of how to make this work.

Would you guys like me to convert any Walking Dead models for MMD? I already converted Season 2 Kenny & Season 2 Clementine for MMD.

I hope to see some progress soon. As well as the person above, I primarily use MMD/Blender for my models and renders. This season has a lot of interesting characters.

If you have any requests, DM me about it.

Personally I used to read it as RandomTBrush, completely ignorant of the fact all your profile pics are of a bush.

I know right? As someone who leans towards making custom characters and stuff, Season 3's models are surprisingly limited in number. Season 4 will really open up more opportunities for sure. I guess all we can do is keep the thread active and hope haha.

Technically keeping the thread active only really works if there's multiple people releasing updates or content lol.

Not sure how Season 4 will be any different for customs though tbh since there's even less characters that appear in the game, there's one or two that appear for like 5 seconds and surely there's some unused ones in the files but compared to season 3, you're not really any better off.

That last episode was kind of a let down too, I was expecting some sort of conclusion to the series and not just the season. Showing us where everybody from the series ended up would've been nice, which means us getting new versions of old characters. Sadly they didnt go that direction and it was contained to its own season. Luckily if we get to have the textures applied to maps and stuff, I can recreate the game how I think it should've been done. :D

The closest we'd get to "new versions" of old characters, would be the TWDG Collection. I remember seeing pictures of a higher poly Christa and Chuck, and I can only assume that's what they were used for. Anyway, as for keeping the thread alive, I can only hope that RTB is making some swell progress.

I wouldn't really call them high poly though myself, they're just the season 2 models with slightly better quality textures. Though I'd prefer that over what we got in season 3.

Also, swell.

I'm not sure what the policy is here regarding links but i've ripped the txmesh and data files from the final season episodes, spent a stupid amount of time sorting each mesh, texture, and skeleton files into their respective character folders, zipped them up, and uploaded to Mega ready for download for those that want them while we wait for RTB to update the importer, the D3DTX files have already been run through Quick BMS but if you'd prefer the raw versions i can upload those, if links are indeed not allowed then by all means PM me and i'll provide you with them.

Hmm, I might be interested, I dont actually own the Final Season on PC, I tend to buy the games later on PC after playing them on the PS3/4 so it ends up being kinda expensive lol (depending on how long I leave it). Though I still might end up getting it for the maps anyway.

I'm sure everyone on this thread would be 100% interested in this! As long as it's related to the forum, I'm sure that you'd be allowed to post it. (As it also aids us in this project :))
