Hey RandomTBush, I hope this question isn't too far off topic to be disruptive to the forum:
I'm starting to make animations in Source Filmmaker of some voice overs of Sam and Max comics, and want to use locations from Telltale's Sam & Max Season One. I am using your tool to import several parts of the office, but since it is rendered out of several models, I have to piece the scene together myself. A friend told me that it might be possible to find a file in the game that places these models in their correct places.
Do you know if there is any way to import these models to place them in the way it is rendered in-game? I've already tried using 3d Ripper DX to rip a full scene of the office from the game and gave up in favor of this approach.
P.S. I'm new to messing around with TellTale's files/using 3ds max, so any kind of help would be appreciated.

Hi guys, I found this forum through a google image search of Bossanova so I'm probably not the most informed user to mess with importing models from games.
I'm planning a cosplay (probably the biggest I'm tackling yet) of Bossanova and I'm looking for as much reference as I can.
I'm willing to learn to use modeling programs and all that but the most I've come close to 3D modeling is SketchUp.
I've already downloaded the scripts from the first post but where can I find resources to learn how to use it?
Thank you all very much
PS: My goal is to be able to export some pieces of the costume so that I could use Pepakura (best case scenario) but high res images could also do

Perhaps this can help

Now I'm hoping for Batman support.

And if the XNALara model posted above doesn't work, I'll see what I can do about getting a rip of said model up on The Models Resource later. As for adding support for the Telltale Batman game, it's definitely on my to-do list, but I still need to get TWD:Michonne's model format figured out first (since it might be a variant of that).
(EDIT: Yep, everything for the Batman model format's changed around again, and on top of that, the header states "6VSM" instead of "5VSM". Fun.)
As for piecing together scenes, I'll be looking into adding a .SCENE importer (I think that's what it's for) later. And double-checking all of the other importers to make sure I didn't accidentally break anything else.

Thanks so much for creating this tool, RandomTBush!
I ran into the same error that lyutor1945 reported on some Tales from the Borderlands models, "array index must be positive number, got: 0"
In my case, the model in question was Moxxi from Tales from the Borderlands. I'm using 3dsMax 2012, if that info is useful at all.
Here's her
skl and d3dmesh file.

I am also getting this error with Game of Thrones mobile skinned models.
Static props import fine, but for skinned characters I just get the bones.
Any ideas about a workaround?

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has the same header as Batman; 6VSM.
Hey RTB, how's the script going? Any progress?

Hopefully the release of the walking dead season 3 has sort of... rekindled this project (and hopefully there'll be an update for the Michonne game someday?). This tool is great and I'm not sure what I'd do without it.

Don't worry, I haven't abandoned this script, I still have intentions to bring it up-to-date. I'll be working on it again in January.

Question - is the next update going to be released once the importer is compatible for all the games it's not yet compatible with (Michonne, Batman, Walking Dead 3), or will it be updated for each game over time?
