Re: Extracting simple models
1.bin starts with "P3D". From 0x3E0 it's compressed or encrypted, dunno.

Re: Extracting simple models
I've been reading through the messages, somewhere getting the idea, somewhere don't. Can anyone explain me, how does hex2obj calculates the indices? I mean I've read the indicies from the binary file and got this sequence https://pastebin.com/AU30FCnV. How do I get such indices like on the image? https://ibb.co/q1LHB1m thanks!

Re: Extracting simple models
Add 1 to each index. That's what wavefront obj format requires.

Re: Extracting simple models
Hello. I'm here to get some files to be extracted along with it's UV. Can I get help?
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1F3nTyX ... sz0Xa/view
Also, can I get the Hex2OBJ latest update in a zip file, without errors? Because I used the wrong version and it gave me "wordpad.exe is missing."

It clearly reads: "Just unpack the three zips (part 2 and three see following posts)..."SpongeBotTronPants wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 6:38 pmAlso, can I get the Hex2OBJ latest update in a zip file, without errors? Because I used the wrong version and it gave me "wordpad.exe is missing."

Re: Extracting simple models
Its a long time since I used H2O so I have forgotten much. I have a file with submeshes that have to be extracted one by one. I am struggling to find the correct start adress for the vertices for the sub-meshes. I dont really understand how to do the math. Can someone please help me along?

Yeah. You've forgotten to switch to never versions.SchnelleMeyer wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 8:18 pm Its a long time since I used H2O so I have forgotten much.

Using unsigned shorts:
. (The face indices are another hurdle; I used faked FIs to get a fast result.)

Re: Extracting simple models
Using this H2O parameter file
0xFDD98 4500
Vb1
48 24
0xB8 972
020400
0x0 255
you'll get such:
. (Maybe some grouping required for the FIs, I have no idea.)
