It works directly with level# and .assets files, because that's how unity files are meant to be loaded. "Extracting" them is a waste of time, because you lose important data such as mesh transformations, hierarchy or material linking.

If you guys are interested, I have released a Unity maxscript importer here.

Re: Fast and the Furious 6:The Game .43 model format.
How to decompress "bundle_cars.assetsbundle"?
Probably, It contains car data. Because "resource.assets" and so on contains no car data.
I Want to extract Honda Prelude Type-S(3D Model)!!!

Use barracuda's modified quickbms script to extract it: viewtopic.php?p=86592#p86592
You'll get a CAB file that can be imported with my script.

Re: Fast and the Furious 6:The Game .43 model format.
Hi folks, im also having the same issues with converting .43 format unity mesh files into something more useful. Zaramot, have you released your conversion script for public use? If not would you mind converting a couple of meshes for me.zaramot wrote:Format is pretty understandable. I tried model you provided, no wheel just body and the hood.
Failing that, what software is able to extract and convert the .43 mesh files to obj. I tried disunity but I keep getting errors saying that it's not working.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers!

Re: Fast and the Furious 6:The Game .43 model format.
I also have a ".43 " file that came from my daughters "Monster High - Monster Maker" Toys software program. The file is called "TorsoMesh.43" If you need the file you the original program you can download the program for free for the Monster High web sit. See this link:
http://www.monsterhigh.com/en-us/monste ... maker.html#
I'm very new at this, and I would like some help. Please. I can't seem to get the "Fast_Furious_a.43.ms" to work with this file on Autodesk 3ds Max 2010. I used "UnityAssetsExplorer.exe (v1.2)" to extract the file from the " sharedassets0.assets " file after it was installed the toys software program.
Will any one please help me with this?

Re: Fast and the Furious 6:The Game .43 model format.
Hi all, how can open this one's object. I tried to open the assets file with the asset unity importer by Chipicao. But the importer did not find the file to import. Opening the file with the asset UnityAssetsExplorer. I was able to get a few files .43. Tell me if there is a 3d model and how to get it?

uvs not found; maybe uvpos 24 and 32? (hex2obj uses uvpos, uvpos+4 for floats).

Thanks for the answer. Yes maybe uvpos 24 and 32. It turns out I could via hex2obj try to get this model?shakotay2 wrote: uvs not found; maybe uvpos 24 and 32? (hex2obj uses uvpos, uvpos+4 for floats).
