Normally the scaled one should be the regular UVs for the diffuse-texture (itemOffset=0x8317902A / itemType=19)
The alternative UV (itemOffset=0x8E54B6F3 / itemType=19) is probably for normalmaps or lightmaps. I have only tested the diffuse-textures on 3-4 models.
Let me know if you find a mesh only with the second UV-type without the first one. :wink:

Useless idea. Because game have new ugly archive format and that means = No Packing tools. And hardly appears

ekey, isnt it theoretically possible to redirect links from any bigfile to the end of the last bigfile? i was going to try it earlier but then deemed texture modding uneccesary.

This is possible i guess, i was able to do localization for X360, but it was really pain and texts are 3 different formats in 3 different files... :( really bad BTW. i did it without extraction, however i'm able to only translate 98% of the all texts. All texts have own ID mark in big file that you can use it as start point for each text, however you can only find 98% of all texts, and repack is not needed since all texts are under each other, however true is i did not try longer text then original, but i guess it would work if u cut language under you currectly translating ..... but as i said not on PC but X360.

I was going to post that but I stopped posting it. Some guy who wanted to make an injector for Tomb Raider Underworld had the same idea to create additional bigfile volumes or to inject it into a patch file so that it still can be loaded. Seems possible.

almost done, parses all 9,800+ models with no errors. a couple days to check to make sure and i'll release a preview (still haven't worked on auto-texturing yet). your code really helped out c00l :).

Thanks for that, and nice to see you got them with weights and everything. About textures, it's meh for me, I can look for them on my own. Just glad that I don't have to rig them and weight paint them as the ones from FC3...

nice! i see you made the changes to parse the vertex format :). pretty easy right :D? might as well let ya finish it and i can move on to the new one piece.
