Awww come on guys give Tosyk a break now...
You have access to all the files now, Tosyk has shown us all how to get the textures looking correct in MAX, and he even uploaded a finished model for us to all compare against. He then said he didn't have time to do anymore stuff ( he actually said it before posting the finished model )
And people are still asking for easy things like models and rigging help. He has provided more than enough to be able to help all of us get the models looking proper in max ourselves, so there is no need for him to post the other character models ( which in all fairness kingfisher. nobody else needed those models, it was just you that specifically wanted those ones. your just looking for someone else to do all the work for you )
And a rigging tutorial ?!? there are hundreds of tutorials all over the internet regarding rigging charcters in 3ds max. if you need to know how max works id suggest you read some of those. This really isnt the place to be asking for or expecting to get help with the basic functionality of 3dsmax, This is a file format information site, not a 3ds max site.
When tosyk said he didn't have the time , he really doesnt. he is active in loads of different threads, this is just one of many he posts in.
so how about we cut him some slack and stop asking him to supply everything for us.
Besides, count yourselves lucky

while you just have to follow the tutorial tosyk provided. I have to try and translate his tutorial into some thing that kinda looks like this..(below). but more complex

This is basically how unreal engine and Lightwave ( the 3d app i use ) sees Node based materials ( thats why you have things like the mix map texture where you only use the red channel, thats all from node based materials )

That image is actually 1 section ( of 5 ) that are used to make up a indoor water material ( complete with animating waves )
