Re: Extracting simple models
That swat sample is full of BIP01_ strings, so probably contains animation data.

Re: Extracting simple models
Well, apparently I found that file on the "Models" Folder of the game, I ripped the game's files and as I go to content, models and there is SWAT.XNB, which when I checked on HxD, it's a ModelReader, how can you tell it's an animation file? is it possible or not? i'm just only wondering because I wanted that model so hard that I wanted to port it into other games.
Let me show you some examples on imgur: https://imgur.com/a/6EELq0O

Re: Extracting simple models
Wow... that's great! could you send me the obj for it? Also, does it have UVs?

Re: Extracting simple models
Also, an reminder, I got the obj and for some reason, it doesn't have UVs applied, are there any issues about them or it's the program?

I'd expect people who post in THIS thread to have some basic knowledge of hex2obj. (Otherwise post in the models forum, please.)GabryTheSniper wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 10:23 pm Also, an reminder, I got the obj and for some reason, it doesn't have UVs applied, are there any issues about them or it's the program?

Re: Extracting simple models
my apologies man, I'm new at this, this is actually my first time being on Xentax, outside of this platform, i've ripped a lot of models using third party programs like ninja and etc, i will go there, don't worry, i won't ruin your thread about "Extracting Simple Models", i'll just shut up and leave but, thanks for the help at least.shakotay2 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 11:10 pmI'd expect people who post in THIS thread to have some basic knowledge of hex2obj. Re: Extracting simple models
Thanks, man.GabryTheSniper wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 11:20 pmi won't ruin your thread about "Extracting Simple Models",

This thread should be reserved for posting problems with hex2obj when extracting simple models.
Not as a general "models service" thread.
I should have taken more care for this in the past. So my fault, sorry.

Re: Extracting simple models
Hey there, it's me again, I don't know if you will help me or anything but I'll say it anyways, I've ripped 3 models from CastleMiner Z, I've got the textures and everything but I tried my best of using Hex2Obj and no success for me, I know how to save them though as mesh but, could you help me ripping those 3 models from that game? (the file is XNB as always but extracted raw via QuickBMS, I don't want to ruin this thread or anything, I'm just telling the community to rip those because the entire community didn't ripped them since 2011, I'm trying to get them to port those into other games to get a lot of nostalgia for everyone
) here are the models that i ripped them: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LOQSsk ... sp=sharing

Re: Extracting simple models
i sent 3 models from that game, why did you sent that screenshot only? in that rar, it has the zombie model and another swat model from CastleMiner Z, this is the last time that I'm asking this and i promise, I'll leave you alone.shakotay2 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 2:22 amOne last time. I'm telling you to do these because the entire community didn't ripped them for years, if you do rip them, i can just port them into other games.

Re: Extracting simple models
alright shakotay2, I changed my mind, since I'll leave this thread cleaned, I created a new thread on 3D/2D models on CastleMiner Z models, you can respond there or I'll wait someone else to help me out, I'll also give it a link for it if anyone wants to handle them and screenshotting them to me. here is the link of the thread: viewtopic.php?p=190675#p190675 (That thread is almost around 100 visits and no one responded it) my apologies for the chaos man, it won't happen again. you have my word.
