Sad... please make this dream happen... we wait for 10 years

and still waiting.

And it's more frustrating when we know now that it's possible, we just need a person that has the skills. First, we thought it's not possible, that the Blackhole studios made it impossible to extract the animations, but according to the latest person’s post, it is possible...

We still lack of a gobj sample with a simpler animation than OrcWarrior.gobj.
Like a bird, as I wrote. Or maybe there's an animated book or chest? Something like that.

And, more important: it starts with the skeleton. As long as there's no skeleton (with hierarchy) nothing will happen.

Sentinel or Juggernaut, at least they have similar animations from H7, which can be compared with the results if the animation export is possible.

Haha good joke! As if modellers have ever been rich

But yes 10 years anything is possible if it's a priority, could have provided a simpler example as requested, could have learned to animate the models themselves which would surely be a useful modding skill, or more easily just paid someone with the skills to figure out the animations in 6 rather than waiting and hoping for a decade. Sometimes a greased palm is the only way to make things happen.

I was the one who gave some basic infos about the anim data. Waiting for someone providing a smaller/less complex sample than OrcWarrior.gobj.

It didn't happen. You wouldn't expect ME to dig through 3421 files (most of them being .gobj files) from Data1.orc, do you?

It wasn't my request. There's smaller samples like Cyclops.gobj, vampire.gobj, Kappa.gobj for example. But really, WHY should I do the job of extracting .orc files and search for them? I expect samples to be given. Then I usually spend 15 min on them. It's only a hobby of mine.

If the interest had really been that intense something would have happened. (Me, I'm not too interested in HoMM6 animations, btw, just being a follower of hex2obj.

)

Just in case someone wants to give it a go, anyways, there's a demo of HoMM6 (> 4 GB). I'd like to mention that the gobj files seem to have changed a little bit (different offsets at least):

Are those two gobj from HoMM6 or 7? If the later it won't help, was discussed here:

Here's the smd from Juggernaut, 31 bones, but no names, just numbers. I'm too busy with my own concerns.
Feel free to find out what is head, calf, legs and so on (hierarchy should help):
