extracting files from an exe game

how would i go about extracting and repacking files out of a game that has all its contents inside of the exe?
game im trying to extract from is gutterball 3d, really really old game

Try tools like Resource hacker, PE Explorer or Executable's strings lister and replacer.

i've tried resource hacker and pe, could get a hold of most of the sounds but saddly no textures, any clue on how to use the strings lister and replacer ?
could only figure out how that you are supposed to run it through command prompt

Executable's strings lister and replacer won't help you with textures and it's only command line tool, no gui available.

Try also TexMod.
