Okay, thanks. Sorry for my noobish questions, I'm just new to this whole thing.

Is there a way to export the animations for the spell effects? Cuz' as far as I can tell Noesis only loads the textures for spells, and not the actual spell animations.

By the way, MrAdults is Rich Whitehouse, I assume?

yep. Aliases of the "god of 3D model format analysing".

He's the One who's giving us the rules:

Thinking that its time to revive this thread one more time.

Me and some other people in a ffxi modding discord have been digging around for ways to mod the actual game, making new character/npc/armor/weapon models or editing current models, animations, textures, bone weights e.

We've basically discovered that all the modding support for the things that we want to do is very difficult or impossible since the only software that allowed the community do so is now sitting behind a 10 dollar a month paywall with online authentication.

Im not saying that this too much but its hard to take that someone is taking advantage of the very small community like this. Or that if this software stops being supported and disappears no one will be able to anything with it again.

What im saying is that since we already have the format reversed can someone anyone out there help us fix this? Can anyone help us with some kind of plugin that can convert a modified model back into the games format?

Honestly this is only place i can think off that can help
