thanks Rikto, that did the trick! Managed to get white_imgu.x360.bin file as well as the filelistu.x360.bin :D

thanks for the tips too, babo3615, sadly I got stuck again. So close, yet so far.

I have quickbms now, and I got the bms script from http://aluigi.altervista.org/papers/bms/ff13.bms

I also changed the file name of filelistu.x360.bin to filelist_imgu.x360.bin

had all the files in the same folder, created an extra folder called extracted

In command prompt, I typed " quickbms.exe ff13.bms filelist_imgu.x360.bin extracted "

however, I get a "error in src\quickbms.c line 2960: CMD_Open_func() "

Am I still doing something wrong?

Oh! Never mind! :D I used Noesis to extract the *.trb files! Still had a problem with it, it kept saying it could not open the white_ file. Managed to get around it by moving the filelistu_ and white_ file to the root directory, c:\

Let the fun times begin!

is there currently any way to view the environments or world assets as well? the current tools all require a pair of files, an index and archive, from my understanding...

You need:

filelist_imgu.x360.bin
filelist_scru.x360.bin
white_imgu.x360.bin
white_scru.x360.bin

then

Run QuickBMS.exe > use FF13.bms

What program did you use to render that? Also, all PS3 files can be accessed now thanks to the new PS3 modchip dongle

well i just messed around with te model in zbrush, then rendered in blender, im such a noob :( right now, just playing with the tools!!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

So how can you rip from PS3?


Or how can you rip demos that are downloaded from PS Store..

.pkg?

I know they are encrypted but i think there is a way..somehow lol

Well all works fine but the big quetion is: How to get environments ?? Noesis only work with the characters but not with the environments :(

How to get the models properly ? Extracting them with Noesis v1.5 on COLLADA format ( .dae ) importing them into Maya but the whole model is just a white pile of vertex, tried in some other way, exporting in .smd then converting to .fbx, works fine but still errors and I can't pose it or smt else, just 4-5 bones works ( I get a error msj tho about the bones/bind pose )

Same problem with Ninja Gaiden 2 ... and maybe others ...

Also extracted the /chr/ folder from the whole DVD's, there's any diff between them ? Checked few files randomly but they are the same ... Will any problems occur if I just put all of them in one folder ? ( Currently I have the whole 3 /chr/ folders )

Guys can someone help me please??When i make an .obj file of any playable character folder i get a 0KB .obj file and i can't view it :( can someone please tell me how can i work it around sine i would appreciate it alot ^^
