Far Cry 5 models modding tool

Far Cry 5 models modding tool allows changing almost any skeletal model in the game for a custom model.

Examples of modified hair and clothes:

Usage:

1. Import or make your custom model in UE4.22.3, build it and save (you must get .uasset & .uexp)
2. run corresponding tool for clothes or hairs (fc5mod_xxx your.uasset original.xbg) - this will make XBG file
Example: fc5mod_hairs.exe myhairs.uasset hair_straight02_aver_f.xbg
3. Import XBG file into the game using Far Cry 5 Resistance mod

I know more than a few interested in importing models, but they weren't even aware that there was a tool to do so.

xBaebsae was the only one who provided me files, and i dont have the game myself.
It worked for all files that i had. You can only use built assets from UE4.22.3 as i said before, other version will not work.

This is understandable, but the author can somehow record a video tutorial on how to properly build a resource in UE4, since it would be very good to demonstrate it on video?

Я говорю, при конвертации в xbg, приходится перебирать варианты в hex, чтобы конвертер смог преобразовать uexp, uasset в один xbg. Я не понимаю, как у автора это удалось, там даже нет строк с путями материалов у готовой xbg.
Кстати, этот способ работает и с другими моделями из других частей FC3 и 4, только крашит игру в основном не редко, как и с 5 частью.

Автор это я и есть. Все равно не понял что приходится перебирать. Нужны образцы файлов, чтобы понять что не так.

На данный момент я пока не могу скинуть образец, вечером после работы всё объясню. Но не могли бы записать урок, как собрать ресурс, чтобы загнать этот ресурс из UE4 в xbg? А то так и не могу понять сам процесс сборки :) .

Если я вам отправлю свои ассеты, вы их можете потом попробовать преобразовать в xbg? И какие именно ассеты надо конвертировать, т.к. файлы материалов тоже с таким же расширением.
И кстати, конвертировать нужно по такому же аналогу xbg?, например волос, которые использует конвертер как аналог или это не имеет значение?
