files.txt is just the package number of the assets. There is a C# program i wrote (quicker than doing it in bats for me) that just strips the "detroit" and the file size texts from the list.txt
Bare in mind I believe this formatted file list is just for the Demo. I haven't touched this project in over 2 months so the details of what i did is fuzzy for me.

It would be nice if someone can make a Script to extract the BigFile_PC files because the script QuanticDream only works for PS4 :(

Thanks for these tools daemon1, they work really well!!
I saw that some _tan.ascii files have been dumped in my folder after extraction, I assume tangents data from the extracted mesh. Does anyone know how to load them into noesis?

Is it possible to extract just Eng sound wem? or maybe a tool to delete everything except a specific lang.
With 74k files it's just a nightmare to find anything.

So, the tool that daemon1 made for Detroit: Become Human now works on both the PS4 & PC versions of the games I take it? Even, most likely, the new steam version of the demo that came out recently? How does the sound extraction work exactly? Is that for both the PC/PS4 version as well? This is intriguing.

As I understand it, with a PC and a version from Epic Store you won’t be able to get SFX and music, but it can work with the Steam version.

Aren't both versions, Epic & Steam version similar, if not the same, when it comes to the files structures?

The dat, dep and idx files for example are identical and so are all the others I think.

I unpacked Steam demo and received all the same files as with the full version from Epic Store.

you can get sounds from ANY version of game, be that PS4 or PC

They received sounds, but these were only voice tracks, I searched, and did not find any music or SFX (PC)

I assume writing a script for the names of the voice lines would be impossibe if they aren't in the files somewhere already. But would it be possible to write a script to sort the sound files by languages? I've started sorting them manually, got to 6,274. It's devastating.

I managed to get sound assets from the PC Epic Store version of Detroit: Become Human.

Script to find the bnks was nicknines from hcs64. Credit to that guy. The guy's script really helped out a lot.

I'm not 100% if this is everything but all the ones found are named and sorted into BNKS.
