Thank you. It doesn't crash, but doesn't load the textures either. Could it be because 3ds max needs a plugin for DDS textures?

Did you change the material so its visible in the viewport?

Press "m" to open the slate material editor then right-click on the material and select one of the 2 "show in viewport" options

For the life of me, I can't see any "show in viewport" option. Is there any way to ensure all materials are shown automatically?
Do you see the models textured?
