Re: Horizon Zero Dawn
same here. If i can get animations to Horizon then i can recreate it... Either that or Quantum Break.daemon1 wrote:you're only interested in animations ?UberBlack wrote:Are you also going to support Shadow Fall along with Horizon?
Are there other games that your support might work on?
When do you plan on releasing the tool?daemon1 wrote:Animation tool is still in progress. (not published)

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn
what do you mean "recreate it" ?
Quantum Break is using morpheme, so must be easy to extract.
But i'm not working on it now, have to finish other projects
also i'm not accepting payments

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn
I mean just that. recreating specific missions using Unreal engine 4. I already have all the models and textures for Quantum break. I have been waiting to get the animations so i can recreate parts of the game with equal or superior graphical fidelity (UE4). Think about a multiplayer online version of quantum break awesome powers. That's are what i'm aiming for.daemon1 wrote:what do you mean "recreate it" ?
The way i see it, recreating games does more to help me enhance my gaming development skills. Its good practice and good hobby just as game RE improves your reverse engineering skills as a whole.
Not payments. But If you can get it done, i will definitely donate to you.daemon1 wrote: Quantum Break is using morpheme, so must be easy to extract.

Its an amazing thing what you are doing. You're breaking new ground.
Whether its quantum break or Horizon, it doesn't matter. They are two great visually acclaimed games that i would love to recreate.

is there a quick way to tell if their implementation of morpheme is different from what you did for bio-shock infinitedaemon1 wrote:Quantum Break is using morpheme, so must be easy to extract.

When I think about this, first thing I imagine is MS or SONY shutting it down and threatening with lawsuits.Bladers wrote:Think about a multiplayer online version of quantum break
Thanks, but I'm not accepting donations either.Bladers wrote:Not payments. But If you can get it done, i will definitely donate to you.
I can surely extract animations. Problem is, there are so many things I could do that its hard to choose.

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn
I bet it will be closer to horizon than to bioshock.Bladers wrote:is there a quick way to tell if their implementation of morpheme is different from what you did for bio-shock infinite
Yes there is a quick way. I need a sample model and a few animations for that.

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn
The problem is, most people who do stuff like this first create a big hoopla and buzz about it. which in turns generate a whole bunch of following yielding a community. Which ofcourse gets the interested parties involved. By the time the project is in 50% completion, it gets C&D'd like clock work.daemon1 wrote: When I think about this, first thing I imagine is MS or SONY shutting it down and threatening with lawsuits.
What they should have done is kept the whole progress under wraps and announce it close or on the release date and release it (including on torrents.)
You can't C&D anonymous and once its on the net, you can't get rid of it because the internet never forgets!
I hope i can persuade you.daemon1 wrote: I can surely extract animations. Problem is, there are so many things I could do that its hard to choose.
here is jack's model and animation

Just being able to remake a mission or even a single cinematic scene to showcase what can be done in UE4 would be amazing.
been waiting 2 years to make use of this.

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn
Cool thats great to hear!
And Yeah I can get you another model that doesn't have animated cloth as soon as I get home. However, I don't think there's a nude model unfortunately or atleast I haven't checked.
Now concerning Jack's jacket. Are you saying that you wouldn't be able to port his animation correctly based on that picture? Or are you wondering about my plans to handle the jacket for proper physics movement in game?

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn
i could extract animation correctly with this model, but jacket will impede the process of visual checking
i dont necessarily need nude model, there must be some without physics driven meshes

I see, well here's paul's tshirt model and some animations.
Let me know if that's good or not.
