I've never used 3DS Max but I might give it a try. Looking forward to seeing your QuickBMS script! (later edit) Oh ... 3DS Max is a commercial program and pretty big. Maybe it'd be better to just wait for your QuickBMS script so I don't have to bother getting it just for this.
