Anyone want to give me a hand ripping this file?

https://sketchfab.com/models/6faefad192 ... ebe90ae4c1

Trying to 3d print it!
I went through the song and dance with Ninjaripper but I have had no success and it seems I am just getting a mess of dots and textures are screenshots.

Thanks, J

you solved that or you asking for help?

blender uses it's internal python that comes with it. you don't need to install anything. the console always spews this error. you can safely ignore it. just make sure you load blender with the .bat file so the internal scripts path i setup as default can be found. if you don't use it you gotta resetup the scripts path whereever you extracted this blender and safe the blend file as "sketchfab_blah.blend". that saves it for this particular file, you gotta load before importing tho, then.

Is there a way to save rigging on model? There are models with bones, but vertex groups and weigths dont load. And also is there a way to make model T posed wile ripping?

yep. set bindpose on line 7 to 1. import. find the reference skeleton. rename it if you wanna make sure. add it as a modifier to the mesh. test it. export fbx or whatever that supports rigged/weighted meshes. all of this in pics https://imgur.com/a/mu5UVwf

use the bat file to load blender, that ensures the relative local scripts path is correct. or change it in the scripts location box that you can find in the lower left of your screenshot.

Code: Select all

Animations=ys.get(ys.root,'"osgAnimation.Animationnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn"')
does it mean that importing animation is not yet implemented? ;)

btw awesome script and great job mate! reading the code helps a lot with understanding extraction process.

why me? ugh. you just gotta execute the script. rightclick in the script window and exe or curosr in the window and press alt+p.

Because you asked for it ? Lol

Btw, with Sketchfab new bones tool it's more easy to see which model have bones.
1. Ninja Ripper doesn't work with Sketchfab

2. Don't distribute the extraction method

3. Three models only

4. No buyable models
