The action script just tells the Scaleform middleware that the game uses to play back the video. Right now, the only way you're going to be able to play back the USM files is if you have Scaleform installed on your machine.

I'm almost positive that Scaleform GFX comes bundled with UDK

I don't have the UDK downloaded and installed ATM, but I was wondering if this will allow playback of the .usm video

Anyone Know?

This is the full version of the Scaleform GFx SDK, but does not include Scaleform Video, is not included in the UE3/UDK bundle

In the Latest Build UDK-2011-05 under C:\UDK\UDK-2011-05\Binaries\GFx (FxMediaPlayer.exe)
is a Scaleform gFX player however after opening it says audio/video disabled.

Hmm... What's the difference between .usm and .bik? I think .usm file is very similar to a .mkv file. But the .usm file is encrypted. Someone said it has CRID encryption. Like I said I do not know much about coding stuff. Why a .usm file cannot be unpacked properly? What does CRID mean in layman's terms? Just curiosity.

Scaleform video uses CRI, which is just another middleware company. They have their own video format that's a competitor to Bink. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CRI_Middleware

Where TW2 store items icon? In which files?
I need it for wikia.
I only find textures of items but no icons for inventory.

They're in globals/gui/icons/items. They're all dds files, you can batch convert them and maintain alpha using Compressonator.

Well, tried to demuxing the content of .usm file with VGMToolbox but only got corrupted .m2v file, not surprised. :(

Yeah, already know that. But voice files must be added later. You will only hear 1st channel. Which is generally background music, sfx etc. No subtitles, no voice.
