In archive_next, after exporting the obj, make it load any texture. The error in blender appears when it cannot access the .mtl (comes with .obj) file because archive_next still uses it in some way. If you just click on any texture and then try to import the obj again in blender it should work.

On those textures that display as 'Bad Image' use the first export option:

It will give you a dx10 .dds file, which cannot be opened with most usual programs. Use Noesis to view and convert it ^_^

Those are the same images that are causing your issue when trying to view models. Which means
texconv is
not doing its job. I'll see if I can bypass that, the model viewer only uses the diffuse map but all textures get created at the same time.

I tried to use it for Rainbow with the UltraHD Textures installed
The result changes randomly after I select a different texture and switch back.
Did anyone get similar images ?
I think that the resources are at different offsets compared to the version you used (and hopefully
not in a different format).
Is there an option to search for all resources without matching them to the stored indices ?
Noticed this issue yesterday when I started digging into the RSS files. 2 problems, first is something I forgot to do for this release, second is with the images themselves.
I could release a fix for the first problem, but that wouldn't fix images that are used for textures.
Going to work on getting the textures to work properly first.

Hmm, i'm not entirely sure this is the issue as usually all textures for most models display correctly in Archive next itself (normal maps aswell), but the models still throw the error when trying to preview them.
I cannot check the model right now because i'm not home, but from the picture it looks like you just need to move the UV upwards a little bit.

maybe scaling it is better, bcs when i move it upwards it's the same problem
quick scale/ not perfectly donne
set the Uv's in the middle and scale or set Uv's in a good corner of the map and Scale a little bit

For whatever reason, texconv is not doing what its supposed to do, that causes ARchive_neXt to crash and not finish writing the model file. The incomplete model file never gets loaded. I'm pretty sure I'm right about this.
What I don't know is why texconv isn't working. Could be a permissions issue, but that's just a guess.

Confirmed and bypassed with error handling that informs you of the failed DX10 conversion. Thus allowing ARchive_neXt to finish writing the model file and properly load it for viewing. Still not sure why
texconv is not working for those with this issue. The only way I could replicate the error was to remove
texconv from the installation directory.
Now to try and resolve the Rainbow Six Siege image issue...
