Guess no one is interested at the moment. 60 Views and 4 downloads on the samples. :lol:

I guess till the game is released then something I can only imagine.

Nothing changes from about half year in researching of *.bnk from TDU2, i think you can posting this sample files on zmodeler2.com forums, maybe Oleg can help, but i think he will want help with this only when the game will be released.

Nah Oleg only knows about the *.2DM .3DD .3DG* which are inside these BNK files. He waited for BNK extractors last time before looking at it.

Within HEX Editor I compared the two, they both are very similar but after all it is same BNK.

Do you have a whole alpha/beta of the game (with executables), or only same resources?

Its the PC. I don't have the actual game but I received car files and others from someone who I shall remain Anonymous, this person has the copy. They didn't tell me much other then that, so I even don't know that much.

Hello everyone, i had created a script in 3DS max for TDU a couple of years ago but the forum i had uploaded them seems to be lost, i contacted the admin and the files don't seem to be anywhere so i'll have to build that script again. too bad i've lost the script myself after weeks of research! i know about 3DG files (at least for TDU1) 3DD and generally the stuff in a .bnk file.

But it seems now that all those are packed in -encrypted- .big files, followed by .map files with offset info and stuff, but it's not that useful if we don't know how to decrypt and extract the .big files! i mean, looking at the .big with a hex editor, i don't see anything looking like a .bnk file

any encryption .big file gurus that can make this first step? i so want to build this script from the beginning! (btw, i don't remember anything like .obj format into the 3DG files. looked more like .X to me.

please someone help extract these .big files! (:

i will as soon as someone decrypts and makes an extractor for those darn .big files! i have no idea on this subject lol

can you post a TDU1 bnk file so i can compare it to the TDU2 files too? krom's bnk extractor doesn't seem to work with the new bnk files so i'll see if i can make an extractor myself and go on with the files from there with the script.

yep, those new bnk files have more stuff in there, heaps of havok physics and stuff, and header has changed no wonder krom's bnk extractor isn't working. i'll manually extract the new ones from let's say.... CCXR and see what's in there :D

i don't know why i can't upload more than one jpg... anyway, i'll just post this one texture out of the CCXR bnk file. the maxscript converts them all successfully! :) i also made my own bnk extractor but can't figure out how to get the correct file names from there yet!
