Models are double wrapped in MDLPACK and G1MPACK files, animations are in G2APACK files, textures are just straight G1Ts

The textures for the models is the model ID plus 1 (so model 929 has texture 930)

The Noesis plugin will struggle with some of the G1M files, because there's some unoptimized code in the script (which will be fixed soon,) and Team Ninja models tend to be high detail. So if Noesis freezes while loading a model, give it a few minutes. This will be fixed soon (some models will always lag a bit though, Nioh has a 70 MB model somewhere)

Use the quickbms script, I don't own Fatal Frame so I can't explore the files.

Regarding Nioh, it seems that Archive 10 has models which i think are from cutscene and such, Archive 11 has more models + some scenery one.

yeah, I think so too. The G2A files in Archive 1 are character animations, the bin files seem to be XOR rotated with a 32-bit constant(?)

The BIN files clearly start with a G1T header, but instead of GT1G it's 0x345C6632

Ugh. I'm at an impasse. I'm sick atm so I can't just spend a day disassembling and debugging the game to find where it does this dumbass XOR operation, and if it's KTGL it's gonna be extremely dumb.

For now Nioh support will be limited to this.
