the compression message is a bug in quickbms, I'm fixing it.
I will release the new version tomorrow because I want also to find a way to compress the zlib and deflate data more.
oh I was forgetting: avoid to use quickbms64_test, it's only for special cases because it's working is not guarantee

Re: [PC] Crysis 2 BETA
well I explain the situation also here so anyone else interested can read it. from version 0.4.9 quickbms has the -r option that allows to reimport the modified files back in the archives (yeah!) but this feature works only with the scripts and the archives that allow it. in crysis2.bms I have used ...

I did it, shoot it in quickbms:
http://aluigi.org/papers/bms/entropia.bms
the key is the md5 of a fixed key plus the crc of the file
the algorithm is rc4 plus 0x300 rounds before doing the decryption

Re: Hacking Zip Passwords (C9)
@merlinsvk the executables of the games on bigfishgames are encrypted with armadillo but in this case the problem was hge.dll compressed with upx. so after having unpacked hge.dll you can scan it with signsrch without problems :) anyway the password of Aztec Tribe is {0D8FD1A3-DEBF-4ef2-8A91-CDB0A10...

Re: Which games have various armors & weapons?
isn't simpler to search the name of each game followed by site:xentax.com on google and then checking the results to know if exist extractors?
example: Soul Calibur 3 site:xentax.com
