I launched comtype_scan2.bat/bms against that sequence of bytes you said in your post and the result is that 72.dmp is correct.
So the algorithm is LZAH (src/compression/de_lzah.c in quickbms)

Re: Question about QuickBMS commands
1) I guess you refer to a situation like having the archives folder\subfolder1\myarchive.arc and folder\subfolder2\myarchive.arc. Currently quickbms creates an output folder based on the name of the archive, the next week I will check if it's possible to take also the subfolder. 2) quickbms has only...

Re: Xbox Minecraft MCR (region) Files
You need to use the xbox sdk to use that decompression library.
Regarding the format I have not found information about it, I simply wrote a lame script to do the job:

Re: Xbox Minecraft MCR (region) Files
The xbox version uses xmemcompress (MS LZX) with compressed size plus 0x80000000 followed by the uncompressed size.

Re: Compressed files and QuickBMS reimport problem (to anyon
In QuickBMS 0.5.18 I have implemented a better compression method that uses kzip combined with 2 other tools.
Additionally now I use kzip with the /b128 option that seems to give better results so if you had problems reimporting the XML files now they will work perfectly.
Enjoy :)

Re: Warframe
you need to use the latest version of QuickBMS:
http://quickbms.aluigi.org
QuickBMS is NOT that GUI program you see in the Tutorials section!
They are two different things and only the version of QuickBMS matters when there are problems with extraction/reimporting.
