Re: Crysis 2 - RETAIL .pak files

-r -w are options so must be placed outside the " quotes and then you have added tons of paths... why? the format is simply: quickbms.exe options script.bms archive folder anyway the following is a translation from the italian of the step-by-step I gave to an user on my forum: in the folder whe...

Re: PS2 bin file

uhmmm all2.bin is too big for being an index file so I guess it can be excluded. but why you have written that it's a dummy file? what you mean exactly? a crazy thing could be that the index file is embedded directly in the executable but would be really weird. anyway this thing is taking too much t...

Re: PS2 bin file

oh another important addition. that BIN file is ONLY a data archive so, as I have already said, there is for sure an index file of some kilobytes somewhere in the folder of the game. it's REQUIRED to have that index file for a chance of extracting the data. for the others: the name of the game is SD...

Re: Need help on unpack "Ai Sp@ce" archive

I have updated the script:
http://aluigi.org/papers/bms/aispace.bms

I'm still not 100% sure if the key I have retrieved is correct because there are some things not clear (some files start from offset 0 for unknown reasons), anyway let me know if works and all the output files are perfect

Re: Sniper Elite

quickbms and the asura.bms script http://aluigi.org/papers.htm#quickbms http://aluigi.org/papers/bms/asura.bms you can also reinject the modified files but I will explain it in a second time or just read quickbms.txt with the only difference of not creating a file.bat but a link to quickbms.exe with...

Re: Devil 2

it's a normal zip file encrypted with zipcrypto and the password should be something like "Mw2zd198703k" followed by a number ("%s%d"). maybe I could have some updates later but I don't know. if you want to help me in the meantime open MwEngine_Shipping_dll.dll with a hex editor ...

NASCAR 2011

I have just made a quickbms script for supporting this file format:
http://aluigi.org/papers/bms/nascar2011.bms

the archives are composed by some ARCHIVE?.AR files and the index files called cdfiles.dat.
the signature in cdfiles.dat is "filE".
maybe other games support this format.

Re: Alan Wake Bonus Disc Audio File .XWB...

depends by what has been reported by unxwb.
if you can't play them it's for sure the msadpcm codec or xma2 and I bet on the first.
vlc or mplayer can play the adpcm codecs perfectly while for xma/xma2 you need other solutions
