the problem is that the Electronic Arts compression is not supported in compress mode (only decompression) so the script can't be used for reimporting (all) the files.

the V archives of the game Wasteland Angel are just ZIP files xored with the byte 0x55.
if you are lazy you can just use my zip.bms script (http://aluigi.org/papers/bms/zip.bms) and add the following line at its beginning using notepad:
filexor 0x55

I have just finished to write the script for QuickBMS: http://aluigi.org/papers/bms/tintin.bms the only 2 things which are not perfect are: - the number of files for the last package, I have used a simple NAME == "" check - the type 6 files like the various c*.bin files which are compresse...

thanx for the info hcs, I have corrected the script.
in short there is also ZSIZE - 0xc to be removed so I have simply used a BASE_OFF += 0xc at the beginning

no, that script can't generate a file of zero bytes.
in my opinion you are using an old version of quickbms, retry with the latest one:
