Re: Compressed files and QuickBMS reimport problem (to anyon
oh yeah sorry, it's the C compiler that breaks all the compatibility with the patch I apply to kzip.exe so I have opted for a precompiled patch.
try version 0.5.6c and sorry again for the troubles, I tried to solve the problem as fast as possible

Re: [PS2] Helpme to extract bpe files to wwe svr 2010
isn't this the same format used by the other yuke bpe formats?
have you checked this script for quickbms?
http://aluigi.org/papers/bms/yuke.bms
as far as I know there is an active community about this game and formats so maybe search better on this forum

Re: A taste of an experimental QuickBMS feature
released a new version in which I have improved (a lot) the performances of kzip. instead of creating the input and output files on the disk I have opted for the usage of the named pipes. named pipes are like fake files that can be read and write only in sequential mode so they don't have a size and...

Re: Lime Odyssey (.ref)
I guess it uses a substitution of the charset or similar because there are no sequences of same byte (like 00 00 00), only the compressed and uncompressed size and the data are in plain-text.
I suggest you to use offzip -a -z -15 for doing the job in the meantime

Re: Compressed files and QuickBMS reimport problem (to anyon
solved in 0.5.6a, in short I wanted to force quickbms to use it only in reimport mode.
I forgot that instead it can be very useful also for stand-alone compressions.

Re: The Darkness II Demo archives (similar to Dark Sector)
download QuickBMS 0.5.6 (the new algorithm is available from this version) and try this script: # Darkness 2 # the folders structure is incomplete, I save only the last one so type 'r' when requested # script for QuickBMS http://quickbms.aluigi.org open FDDE "toc" open FDDE "cache&quo...

Re: A taste of an experimental QuickBMS feature
another new feature in version 0.5.5: possibility of calling external executables. imagine to have a file compressed with the swizzle algorithm (it's only an example so don't consider this name!) but: - it's not supported by quickbms - there are no dll that do the job - exists only a command-line to...

Compressed files and QuickBMS reimport problem (to anyone!)
I post this thread here because often some people reported problems in reimporting compressed files via quickbms -r -w even if the original size of the modified file is the same (for example you modified one or no bytes). as already explained the problem is not caused by quickbms but it's just a lim...

I guess you are off-topic, there is a specific section here: viewforum.php?f=35
then have you tried a search (via google too) before posting here?
and why opening another thread about mw2???

Re: How to extract Samurai Shodown Sen K2MP file.
uhmmm it looks like k2mp is a generic container but then the archived files have their formats and some of them are just like archives. an example is "TBSx" which contains the dds. in my opinion it's better to go with a generic ripper. anyway the following is a script for takeing the archi...

no encryption or compression otherwise you wouldn't be able to see the various 32bit numbers in the file (sequences of zeroes and so on)

1) don't bump this thread again, if nobody has replied to you till now it means that there is no solution at the moment 2) the files you uploaded have all different formats 3) as far as I know bacter wrote a tool for the pak archives, I'm not aware about tools for locales.dat 4) in absence of altern...
