Re: Otomedius G pak container.
the script is the following but I have not understood why the files you uploaded have extension "unpacked" and not "pak": # Otomedius # script for QuickBMS http://quickbms.aluigi.org get PATH basename get FULLSIZE asize do getdstring SIGN 4 if SIGN == "TXGP" get DUMMY l...

Re: Lunia cfp + cpv
I have made the script for quickbms based on that code: # Lunia # script for QuickBMS http://quickbms.aluigi.org comtype lzma open FDDE "cfp" getdstring TYPE 2 get DUMMY longlong get OFFSET longlong goto OFFSET set PATH string "" set NAME string "" math VAL1 = 0 math VA...

Re: cage & hab files.
read section 3 of quickbms.txt:
http://aluigi.org/papers/quickbms.txt
the script seems valid for the reimporting so it should work

Re: Minecraft - fancy a game?
uhmmm sincerely this has not much sense. if I'm a normal user I say "ok let's try this mainkarft" (yeah a novice user makes a lot of mistakes) so I go on the main website and I start to see that it can't be played because you must buy it and there is not even a demo/trial. ok I see another...

Re: Blade & Soul DAT (UOSEDALB)
I see interesting results using the scpack/scexpand compression (a byte pair encoding algorithms) but it's not exact yet. I guess that the table or the code is a bit different. for example the attached file has been decompressed from the offset 0x61 to 0x2961 of xml.dat and has some sense. that's th...

eh eh eh sorry of what?
it was impossible to know that the zip contained the script.
I need to find an alternative way for the scripts in others_bms_scripts.zip otherwise they can't be indexed and found by the people...

Re: NeverDead .asrBE
yeah use ever aluigi.org, indeed I never write aluigi.altervista.org in my documents/website/tools or on the forums just because I pay a domain and it's good to grant ever the accessibility of the website. anyway the problem on aluigi.altervista.org is temporary, it's happening from about 2 weeks bu...

Re: Minecraft - fancy a game?
what I have never understood is the purpose of this game. it looks like in origin it was like a defend game where you get attacks of monsters that try to ruin your castle but I remember to have tried it recently various times with a friend and the only thing I found were lot of people trying to buil...

Re: Cannon Fodder 3 .pck0 archives
I wrote the script for this game various days ago, I inserted it in the other_bms_scripts.zip package:
http://aluigi.org/papers/bms/other_bms_scripts.zip
my doubt is about the log/clog function, are we sure that some files aren't compressed?

Re: A taste of an experimental QuickBMS feature
cool, I have just made a quick test versus version 0.5.4 (the old one without the slow secure allocation method) using the following script: set SIZE 0x1000000 putvarchr MEMORY_FILE SIZE 0 log MEMORY_FILE 0 0 for i = 0 < SIZE putvarchr MEMORY_FILE i 0x61 next i and the result is that the new version...

Re: A taste of an experimental QuickBMS feature
the putvarchr command tells quickbms to pre-allocate memory and so setting the total size of the MEMORY_FILE to that size. the log one instead reset the status of the MEMORY_FILE leaving its total allocated size intact and so avoiding the continuous reallocations. the good news is that my work on th...
