Re: Vancouver 2010
the last part of the bin files is for sure encrypted but I don't know the method (no one-byte xor/rot), so in the meantime the following script should work extracting nameless files: set BLAH string "0" # 000 is converted in 0, that's the reason string BLAH += "0" string BLAH += ...

Re: Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising .000, .001, .002, etc.
was enough to read the various posts in this thread where the author of the scripts (me) said with huge words that the experimental method posted initially didn't work to avoid to waste time with useless tests and reading the opinions of other people not even involved in the research... oh come on

Re: M2 online
no luck with the compression.
I have scanned all the compression algorithms supported by quickbms and I have also tried to apply the CryptDecrypt encryption with the key "#4sldfWERx*(^^*3" but still no luck

Re: Aleins Vs predator 2010 PC .asr
it could be a problem in the "pseudo-padding" used in that new chunk of the archive.
I don't know how to handle it, I simply used a work-around to guess the correct value.
if the archive is enough small try to upload it but I can't guarantee a result

let me know if there are problems with other files

Re: Battlefield Bad Company 2 .fbrb Archives
@pirateplunder I used a simple and basic work-around, because the good way would be the incremental decompression of the data ignoring the size field at the end of the gzip file. practically I get all the 32 bit fields from the end of the file one by one (so for example first the 32bit field at offs...

Re: Sinistar Unleashed (PC 1999) GFX Resource File
only some archives have filenames inside them.
for the content of the files I can't help, what was archived is extracted as is.
if someone is interested in the format of these files and consequently in updating the script he's welcome, I'm not.
