have you tried using procmon to see where is got the stream file?
obviously would be good to set a nice filter otherwise the output will be enourmous

ok confirmed, the script works perfectly :)
the only problem is that it's necessary a new version of quickbms that I will release tomorrow :(

I have just updated the script (0.2.1) adding another work-around for supporting the non-compressed files.
I hope that now it will work with the majority of the archives.

I have found the xor key for the names so now the new script I have linked in my original post extracts the file with all their names :)

ok I have updated the script, anyway I can't assure it will work with the other files because the format is strange and I used work-arounds

unfortunately the table with the name of the files is obfuscated in some way, for the rest the following is the script for QuickBMS compatible with both the PC and the 360 version:

yes soz1 is a classical pack archive.
the files with the xbcompress extension must be unpacked with the xbdecompress tool (xbox sdk: xbdecompress.exe filename) while for those with the unslz extension are already unpacked

quickbms adds an extension to the known file types, for the others you must take a look at them with a hex editor.
anyway no, I don't check the content of the extracted files because it's not my work

note that the VOC extension is added automatically by quickbms using my script, you must have a version of the tool major/equal than 0.4 for having this feature. about eff.pac the problem is that the file seems cut from the middle of the pac archive because there is not an initial header. note that the key will change with different files and versions because the key is based on the content of the files.
