why not just using 7zip:

it works even with some installers and obviously all the various gz, zip, rar and other compressed archives

the file is simply xored with the following 4 bytes: 34 76 12 95 script for quickbms: filexor "0x34 0x76 0x12 0x95" get NAME basename get EXT extension string NAME += "_decrypted." string NAME += EXT get SIZE asize log NAME 0 SIZE it's probably a mesh file or similar stuff anyway...

the str files seem to contain raw audio at 32khz, 16bit stereo. it sounds a bit noisy so it's not to be excluded a light codec used on it (adpcm?) the rest seems almost like a midi and sound instruments, for sure an "original" solution. anyway there is for sure someone with more experience...

I have done a quick test and from my tests it looks everything correct.
probably you can't open them normally because they seem headerless, just the raw image data in them.
