Re: Amplitude .STR files
My guess would be something like that yes. because i cannot imagine they made a realtime filtering engine that filters it all out on the spot during the gameplay ;) there is now an basic STR converter in the new Jaeder Naub thing to be tested. http://jaedernaub.ath.cx use the File/Load on menu, clic...

Re: Sega Saturn - Dragon Force Files
.BMP files are bitmaps without headers. the CLUTs are probably stored elsewhere. (the smaller BMPs are 512x256 8 bit, the larger ones are 512x256 16 bit) there is no palette information whatsoever stored here though. the GRP files are sprite containers. AI files as mentioned are AIFF audio. SBN file...

Re: Assassins Creed PC .forge files
Some kind of ADPCM, (probably XBOX ADPCM), however, not a known header.
could probably attach the soundata over a forged RIFF header and it would be playable.

Re: MXvsATV Untamed textures files
8 bit palettized image, X width specified in header. Cannot find Y though.
first block is 32bit indexes of palette, the rest of the body is image data.
import as RAW into photoshop with 512x and 340y for grayscale image.
this should be fairly simple to make a Conversion/Reconversion tool for.

Re: God of Thunder
Music is Adlib. graphics unknown so far, im investigating. the problem here is that the mainarchive IS compressed. however, only the VOX sounds are raw. (because they would gain nothing on the compression anyways) but the graphics and music score data is compressed. im trying to circumvent it by run...

Re: Granado Espada .IPF format
Im downloading the Client now too see if i can get a clue of the Zip password. an approach i use when finding out passwords for encrypted archives used in games or demos is by simply looking in the Exe files or DLL files of the game, the password will almost 95% of the times be found unencrypted her...

Re: Granado Espada .IPF format
the IPF file is a simple Zip file (rename it to .zip and open it), so repacking the files should be easy. HOWEVER..... the Zip file is password encrypted. so you cant really exctract any files by hand and repack them without knowing the password. so the the creator of the IPF unpacker knows the pass...

Re: what compression be using in switchball?
Unlikely that VNZ file is compressed. 99% it is not.
however its really too small for me too analyze it properly.
please submit a larger file.
