Re: Mafia [PS2] - SOUND.DAT

Sony VAG Audio all the way to glory! :) ofcourse, headerless.

Edit: The archive list seems to be pretty straightforward. i think someone will be able to create a BMS for this.

Re: David Douillet Judo, .pak , (PC)

Have discovered Modelfiles, dont know what format they are yet, but they share similarities of other modefiles ive seen so far,
with attributes, like head_tim_1_fx_1.fxCameraProjection.CameraPosition.light_direction.SpecularColor , so with some luck they could
be generic modelfiles.

Re: (NDS) RPG Tsukuru DS CHBG graphic files

Im going to make a rough guess, but according to the images posted here it seems like they have a block compression scheme, such as , if the encoder detects 8x8 pixels has the same color, it will replace this block with something like 2 bytes, the first byte would say that the block is compressed, a...

Re: David Douillet Judo, .pak , (PC)

So far doing great progress on this, atleast for the imagefiles that i find in the snippets. im going to make more tries on the actual gamearchive today. So far mostly successful conversions to TGA format, with a few exceptions, but i know why they fail, so it should be fixable. I havent yet found a...

Re: .wft encrypted/compressed files

It uses zlib, a zlib decompressor depacked those files for me. So zmodel can depack zlib.

Re: Battle of the Immortals .SQP and .STR

at first i thought it was MPQ Archives (Blizzard variant) since they share a very similiar header, but i couldnt get any MPQ Extractor to open the archive,
so thats probably not it afterall.

Re: David Douillet Judo, .pak , (PC)

I would think someone could easly write a BMS extractor script for this format, since nothing seems to be encrypted or anything. So once the PAK archive for this game is solved, you should be able to open all of the paks for this game, (i would assume), the most alarming part however is that i dont ...

Re: David Douillet Judo, .pak , (PC)

This seems very easy, first is the index of all files in the archive, all files are Zlib compressed.
i got out 5MB of DDS files from front-judo file, however the DDS files lacks a DXT header, but it should be replaceable.

Re: .wft encrypted/compressed files

Both files are Zlib compressed and can be unpacked without any problems.
Didn't use the cryptokey at all. However, i dont know a program that can read the files unpacked :P

Re: Unable to determine video codec

The file itself has a QuickTime header, the movie doesnt play for me, i did scan it by hand though, and the frames are in there, uncompressed bitmaps. :o
So, technically, there is not really a codec! =D

Re: Is there a program that will let you replace DDS files?

There never was a trojan or virus in Jaeder Naub (i am the author) , I did however use an EXE Packer for it, and since the antivirus companies are lame and cannot scan packed exes, they assume that all packed exes (with that signature) is a virus, one of the reasons i dont use anti-virus software. I...

Re: Bully PS2 Scream.IMG files Can they be extracted?

Extracted most of the sampledata, they are in Sony VAG format, I couldn't however determine how the DIR file worked, since the offsets in there seems to not be related to where in the file the audiodata is. (but im also tired, so i could have done some very silly mistakes) So the audiodata was brute...
