Recoding my ripper engine totally.

I have started creating a totally new ripper engine. it will be probably 1000% (or more) faster than the current Jaeder Naub. Jaeder will though still be in development as the time to totally rewrite the engine and convert file format detections will take a pretty damn long time, but i felt it was n...

When i looked at it thru a Hex editor i noticed there where many similarities to a format ive seen befor...

....

I highly doubt they are in the SLZX amiga packing format.

why would a pc developer use an old amiga packer for their data?

currently makes no sense from my point of view..........

but it would be fun if they really is. =)

Well...

Im gonna be quick. Dual cores can be good at specific tasks. such as encoding operations. but ive seen stuff go wrong with dual cores, such as games running too fast. (twice the speed) due to timing problems. I would go for a dual core. but im not much of a gamer. the Videocard is a much more critic...

hi again!

To point out. the archives themselves are not compressed. however, the archives contains some files that are identified by "SLZX" and these files are compressed. but the archives also contains uncompressed files. I guess the SLZX files are naturally big files, such as TGA or model files. p...
