Re: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X - GFX File.

This is a very high probability. when i analyzed the unpacked dat files (the ones from the CABs), they contained lots of different data, and i think some of them contained GIM images aswell, and some dat's even contained more CABs. which then in turn could possibly contain more GIM or even TIM2 imag...

Re: [PC] MAFIA II Demo FSB

Just a random note because i couldn't keep my fingers away, 96kbit mono is actually "better" quality than 128kbit stereo,
since each channel in the 128kbit stereo file would use 64kbit each to come up to the 128kbit quality. TE HE.

okay, i crawl back under that rock again.

I get no corruption on any CAB file from that rip, they all work, so im not entirely sure what goes wrong with your rip.

Re: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X - GFX File.

after exctracting the rar/7z file you will get a topx.dat file, which i then scanned a bit with my own ripper Jaeder Naub, this will output more files from the archive, however at the moment im not sure which files are legit and working, and which ones are not. so you can try to use Jaeder naub on t...

Re: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X - GFX File.

Downloading at the moment, hold on tight :) Lots of Atrac3 audio, VAG Audio, TIM2 GFX files, and misc files with headers i havent seen before. one interesting thing here is though that i think this archive contains CAB files, which im about to rip out. maybe the CAB files holds something of interest...

Jaeder Naub users - I need some help!

First. Hi, long time no see. Ive been experimenting with new ideas on how to make scanning more efficient and optimized, and have now released experimental builds for this new technique. the problem with this is that ive practically remade the whole scanner from scratch, this is a problem because i ...

Re: David Douillet Judo, .pak , (PC)

Just to let you know im still looking into this! So far been able to unpack some of the datafiles, most textures are DDS or TGA. The reeason why this might take longer (and has taken longer than expected) is because modelfiles would be linked to the texture name of a file, so i cannot really rip out...

Re: Fusion Games (It's a Longshot, but could make history!)

Okay, managed to decompress a whole Exe file with some Zlib bruteforcing. everything is open now.
the only bad thing about this is that the graphicsfiles in the exefile are totally without any headers, so this is gonna
take some time to make up a nice detector. =X

Re: Fusion Games (It's a Longshot, but could make history!)

The reason people will get a lot of false positives from scanning these Exe files with a bruteforcescanner is because they are compressed, i did unpack Lop.exe so far by executing it, dumping the RAM image of what the application used. (this was Stdrt.exe) and then scanned it manually, lots of RIFF/...

Re: Lost Lagoon - STG-Archive

Tried it using Jaedernaub, and it worked great, you wont get the exact filenames though, since Jaeder is a bruteforce scanner, and not a de-archiver. so if you want full filenames you would need to wait for a BMS script. else, just head over to http://www.jaedernaub.com and download my ripper. Re: Disney Pixar - UP / .sdx Tools

The soundfiles within this archive is NOT PCM, those are ADPCM without any headers.
the closest thing ive got is by bruteforcing on G723 Codec, and i could hear some distorted speech.
