Re: PS4 KH SCD by any other name?
There's definitely some background music in that .SVM file. Do you have a few more examples? I may be able to work out the format and how to extract them.

Re: PS4 KH SCD by any other name?
Yes, if you could post a list of the file names and sizes that might be useful.

Re: PS4 KH SCD by any other name?
I'm not sure. I know someone who has the disc, so I'll get it and have a look as soon as I can.

Re: PS4 KH SCD by any other name?
No problem. Do you have an example of a Re:CoM cutscene? I could take a look at it, see if I can make anything of it. Anything's possible!

Re: PS4 KH SCD by any other name?
Yes, those are the only sounds in those KH files. There are quite a lot of voice audio files in the game - maybe about 2,000 in total. It doesn't seem like the audio format has changed from the original PS2 version, so you should be able to find them all in various archives with PSound, assuming the...

Re: Star Wars Episode III (PS2, .rp2 files)
The audio in that archive is all standard Playstation 4-bit ADPCM, so you can open and convert them with PSound - there are 103 audio files.

Re: PS4 KH SCD by any other name?
A few observations from those files in the "1.5" folder: All of the following files open ok for me with PSound (v2.0) - some have a VAG header, some don't, but all seem to be standard Playstation 4-bit audio: aw_006.vset - 7 sounds aw_goofy.csv - 15 sounds music157.dat - 33 sounds (all musical instr...

Re: .OGX (Multiplexed media file Ogg Vorbis container)
I've had a look at that archive, and it's just one long .ogg file starting at offset 0x0028, after a short "XP3" header. If you remove that short header, you can play the .ogg file - it's about 3 hours 24 minutes. I can't see any other obvious info in the file (could be encrypted), so the game must ...

Re: .OGX (Multiplexed media file Ogg Vorbis container)
I couldn't find anything that would play these files. However, I added an Ogg Vorbis header from a working file, and just got lots of nonsense audio. So it seems like these could be headerless Ogg Vorbis files of some sort, but without the proper header information I'm not sure if they can be decode...

Re: Working On English Voices for Bomberman Jetters (GC)
The music and voices in the cutscenes are all one audio stream, so unfortunately there's no way to separate them to get just the voices. So that's probably the best you'll get for those ones.

Re: Working On English Voices for Bomberman Jetters (GC)
The cutscenes are all in the H4M folder as 18 video files. I can't find anything to play the video properly, but Foobar will play the audio with vgmstream, so you can use it to convert them to a separate audio file.

Re: Working On English Voices for Bomberman Jetters (GC)
If you haven't got it, I think you might also need the ADPCM decoders for Foobar. vgmstream will support the TXTH format, but it doesn't seem to recognise DSP, properly, which looks like the problem you're having. If you install the ADPCM decoders 1.13 from the Foobar2000 site, that should work (fin...

Re: Working On English Voices for Bomberman Jetters (GC)
I'm not sure what the problem is there. All 854 files play fine for me, although I do know Foobar is sometimes a bit temperamental. I'm not an expert on Foobar, but maybe vgmstream is detecting the files incorrectly. If you go into your Foobar preferences, under Playback > Decoding, you can drag vgm...

Re: Trying to extract sounds from the original Resident evil 2
I've checked my notes I made when I ripped the audio a while ago. I don't know if different releases changed the files in any way, so hopefully this will still apply. The .SAP files are just standard .WAV files, but with an extra 8 bytes at the start of the file. You can use VGMToolbox to strip thes...

Re: Working On English Voices for Bomberman Jetters (GC)
No problem, SteamyJ - just put the attached .bat file in the same folder as bj_samp.exe, file_table and jetters.samp - and then double-click the bj.bat file.
